Seattle police chief announces tighter policy for prosecuting vandalism

People who destroy property in Seattle will be arrested under a tighter policy coordinated between the Seattle Police Department and Seattle City Attorney Pete Holmes, police said.

The tighter policy will be enacted Saturday, Seattle Interim Police Chief Adrian Diaz announced ahead of a scheduled demonstration in Seattle's Occidental Park.

The new policy comes after police reported several buildings were vandalized in downtown Seattle Wednesday night, including the city's federal courthouse.

"The events of breaking windows at a variety of different locations with no meaning," Diaz said. "There was no discussion about what they were fighting for, what type of social justice message. That cannot happen. That level of direct action cannot occur. And we are going to immediately address those issues."

The chief added that he has "been in conversations" with Holmes who will now prosecute those cases.

The department posted photos on Twitter of "multiple windows" shattered at the William Kenzo Nakamura US Courthouse, used primarily by the 9th US Circuit Court of Appeals.

CNN affiliate KOMO reported the group burned an American flag and threw objects in the streets to block the path of motorists. Several vehicles were damaged before police ordered the group to disperse, KOMO reported.

The low IQ antifa members have to be a it confused at the moment, trying to figure out why all the local governments are suddenly acting like they are a bunch of riotous criminals, instead of righteous social justice warriors.

I’m thinking, all stories like this should begin “Now that Biden is in the Oval Office ...”

They’re not revolutionaries if they’ve had the path of least resistance cleared for them. They were “cleared in hot” and it’s been burning ever since. They are always going to have their delusions of grandeur that they’re something really special. They think way too much of themselves and they need to come to that realization. These are still the children who have been under the impression since they could walk that they are the world and future, god’s gift to man and the “genius” offspring of the least appreciative generation of Americans ever.

I’ll wait to see what happens during the next Seattle City Council meeting. Probably something like: “The ingrained systemic racism of the hegomanical USA system does not change over night even if a Democrat seizes control. The police force always dictates from those in power over those with no voice. But their voice will be heard! The vote is 6-1 to reduce funding to our over-zealous police by another 50%.”

True fact though - the cops are leaving the Seattle police department on their own, so they will meet their “defunding” efforts whether they like it or not!

Seattle police chief announces tighter policy for prosecuting vandalism saying. “If those legitimate protestors think our half-hearted slaps on their wrists were tough, what until they get our new and improved Kung Fu inspired slap on the wrist. They’ve been warned. We are cracking down hard, make no mistake!”

Too bad, I was looking forward to having some popcorn and watching the feral crowds vandalize the places of rich white liberals that voted for Resident Xiden. Oh wait, ferals can’t stop being violent. Looking like extra butter for that popcorn!

I think it's smashing up the Dem party HQ that did it. We can't have the monsters we created turning against us!

One could infer that Diaz is ok with vandelism so long as it's associated with a "social message". Seattle government officials like Diaz are nuts!!

This bonehead’s statement seriously implies that rioting and lawless behavior is ok for certain leftist causes.

Sorry, but this corrupted LEO should be made a former LEO asap

The Big Lefty Powers know, that lefties always turn on and eat their own.

This past week, the formerly exulted and praised rioters tried to destroy the Democrat headquarters, screaming “WE want revenge” and “F*** Xiden!”

Maybe in their pea brains these violent, pretend anarchists are starting to realize their usefulness is over and they’ve been tossed to the curb.

Expect a harsh crack-down to keep them in line or neuter them.

Does he realize what he is saying?!

If you drape your rioting and looting with a "social justice message," all is forgiven?!

Regards,
