The problem is Mitch doesn’t care:

Which party is in the majority or minority...

Whether or not President Trump gets convicted...

Whether or not President Trump is prohibited from running again...

He’s got a guaranteed job for the next six years and his pay is the same no matter what.

It will not surprise me if Cocaine retires in two or three years.

I’ll bet a dollar to a donut hole that McConnell was the beneficiary of Ballot manipulation in this lase “election”. The number of “votes” that he got just doesn’t make sense nor does it add up.

I disagree. Trump won Kentucky by about 63-37 but McConnell won by only 58-42. Probably most of the difference is from people who voted for Trump but didn't vote at all in the Senate race. After all, McConnell's opponent was Amy McGrath, who self-proclaimed to be the most liberal person in Kentucky.

Just Mitch being Mitch. Did you notice McCarthy, the House minority leader that everyone loved, was defending the disgraced rep Chaney who was censured by her state party officials?

Both he and Mitch retain their leadership positions because the other members approve of their actions, I guess. Chaney as far as I know still holds her leadership position as well.

I have always considered McCarthy to be a GOP tool who occasionally threw some slices of Spam to us dogs on occasion. The GOP would not so much as threaten John McCain with a slap on the wrist for any of the the egregious things he did and said, and that was the original impetus for me to leave the GOP after having been a registered Republican from 1976. If they didn't REprove, that meant they APproved. Nothing has changed.

I was a registered Independent for years and then re-registered as a Republican to support President Trump. As of January 6, 2021, I am now no longer a registered voter but I am still and will continue be an American Patriot.

RummyChick :" and Fauci is really piling on. I can’t stand this guy"

How else can a bureaucrat survive despite having served under 7 Presidencies ??
He looks to see who is going to win, and then, only then, does he choose sides.
He goes through more contortions than a snake.. say, do ya think ?

Mac needs to go and take the Republicrats with him.

Actually we need to go and I did a long time ago. Republicans aren’t going to listen to the grass roots, when have they ever done that? Why do you think we got two Democrats in disguise known as McCain and Romney as loser nominees?

Wake. Up.

McConnell will be 84 in his next election. We need to primary those from the Deep State who only grow a conscience in the year before their election. Actually, we need to primary almost every republican in the House and in the Senate.

Just as important, the patriotic challengers need to cooperate. If you’re not #2, you need to withdraw well before voting starts to make sure we remove all RINOs from office.

Yes he does. Mitch and Paul Ryan purposely slow-walked the Trump agenda and squandered Republican majorities. Traitor Ryan kept the House on vacation, while Mitch let Trump nominees languish for years. Both traitors.

AG David Cameron (Kentucky) needs to investigate McConnell. He would be a great Senator for Kentucky...

McConnell is 78 this is likely his last term of office.
Kentucky GOP’er need to line up one pro-Trump replacement if McConnell runs again (I think unlikely), multiple pro-Trumpers if he doesn’t.

McCain is dead, it’s time to stop talking abut him.

Romney is probably toast in Utah for 2024 unless Utah Mormons are guilted into voting for him. I don’t think they’ll fall for it a 2nd this time. So I think he’s gone !

Most RINOs are old nature will take care of them, they’re exceptions. They need to be taken out in the primaries.

90+% of the rank-and-file are pro-Trump, it would be stupid to throw away that leverage by forming a new party. Do a takeover from within, the socialist\communist languished for years as fringe parties. (Yes the parties still exist on the books. They exist more as museum pieces then as actual parties that are competitive.) The socialists, etc. have shown us how to take over a major party. Essentially they have given us a blue print, just do it !

Why Did The Murdochs And Fox Execs Suddenly Become Mitch McConnell’s Biggest Donors?
POSTED AT 9:25 AM BY ALAN HUFFMAN
August 11,2020

Noteworthy among the McConnell contributors are four of the top executives of Fox Corp., the piece of the Robert Murdoch media empire that operates Fox News as well as movies, sports, radio, and TV broadcast divisions. The four executives — Rupert Murdoch, Lachlan Murdoch, Charles “Chase” Carey, and Viet Dinh — have made unprecedented donations to McConnell’s campaign but apparently have not given a penny to Trump. As first noted by Nick Surgey of Documented, and later mentioned by New Yorker writer Jane Mayer in an NPR interview, the Fox executives represented four of McConnell’s five biggest individual donors in the first quarter of 2020. These donations raise a host of questions that have not been otherwise reported or explored.
