America, a Country of Victorious Socialism
American Thinker ^ | 20 Jan, 2021 | Alex Markovsky

The revolution I’ve been warning about for the last ten years has happened.

The revolution I’ve been warning about for the last ten years has happened. It is not a bloody uprising typically associated with a revolution but rather a peaceful evolution over a prolonged period of time that culminated in the socialists’ takeover. There should be no illusion; the Marxists are taking power in America seriously and for a long time.

Indeed, communist leaders from Lenin to Brezhnev are sardonically grinning from hell and watching in disbelief as what was impossible for the Soviet Union to accomplish with all its military might and nuclear arsenal is being accomplished by the American people themselves through a dubious electoral process.

Just to be clear, it is not Orwell’s 1984, it is the Soviet Union of 1937 returned from the hereafter with a human face. There will be no Gulags; millions of people will not be executed. The dissidents will be dealt with “humanely.” They will be purged from the universities, media, government jobs, and major corporations. The Bolsheviks’ motto, “who does not work does not eat,” will be replaced with a new one – “who does not obey does not eat."

Dissent will be suppressed by a brute force of government agencies, including the power of the DOJ to bring frivolous lawsuits and bankrupt its victims and destroy their families.

The author is out to lunch on this.

1. The U.S. has effectively been a socialist country for almost 100 years.

2. The defining characteristic of our government/economic system right now is classical fascism. Joe Biden is not a Marxist. He’s a career political dope who does whatever his corporate owners tell him to do.

You could have said the same sort of thing that the 18th Amendment about this time a century ago, yet within a decade it and the dry movement collapsed under their weight and internal contradictions and hypocrisy and failures. The “drys” too also controlled the media and public schools.

The American people did not do this. This was an act of war by the World Bank and it's allies, the Godless Left, The Chinese Communist and the Global Fascists. They paid for all of this insanity. Total Corruption in DC brought us this close to Totalitarianism. Nothing has ever been done on this scale since the USA existed. NOTHING. WWII was a larger conflict, but it was not in a years time. And Pearl Harbor II took place in the span of 24 hours on November 3-4, 2020. The first blood has been drawn. How will the citizens of the USA react to the new slavery?

I do not exagerate.

Neither education nor life experience has prepared Americans for grasping the epochal shift that took place this November. It is not surprising. From ancient times, the most tragic events of history have been triggered by people who, despite the obvious, failed to forecast the future. Events of the utmost significance, even utterly obvious, are often ignored because they conflict with the prevailing wisdom and the preconception that we are not stupid, it cannot happen to us, to our people, to our country.

We've been lulled by normalcy bias, thinking America the Land of the Free would continue forever, that there is no way the communists would take over. Every once formerly-free people thought that. "We are too mature, too smart to let tyranny take over."

Likewise the Soviet Union ultimately collapsed. But it too 70 dreadful years for that to happen.

You are generally right Alberta, though it was a gradual process. Market capitalism has been a theory in this country for quite a long time. Same with the givernment as the protector of individual liberty.

There is a book written in the 40s or early 50s (too lazy to go to my library at the moment to get the title) where the author showed that the US Constitution is completely incompatible with socialism, i.e. socialism would not even get a foothold in US if Constitution were followed by 3 branches of government. And here we are in 2021 ...

We can legitimately debate all day the ideology of our royal crime family.

But—call it what you will—they are lying thieving jerks who would all be wearing orange jumpsuits in a just world.

So—I call them kleptocrats and leave it at that.

I just find it bizarre that someone would see the election of that senile retardate Joe Biden somehow marked a sudden transition to “socialism” — in a nation where hard-core socialist institutions like public education and government-run health care and pensions have been ingrained in our culture for longer than most Americans have been alive.

Agreed—I hate those labels—they tend to confuse more than enlighten.

People end up debating the labels while ignoring the facts on the ground.

“We’ve been lulled by normalcy bias, thinking America the Land of the Free would continue forever,...”

Yepp, and that we believed in the rule of law, that those elected, the judiciary and the unelected who administered the givernment functions would protect our institutions and our individual freedoms, from all threats foreign and domestic. We were living as good citizens, paying our taxes, voting, going to church, working, taking care of family, volunteering in the community, keeping up on the news ... and then 2020 exposed how much of our institutions were as fake as the media trying to pass themselves off as the 4th estate. Let’s not put the blame on us, and beat ourselves up too badly, we have our work cut out. Our form of givernment metastasized into something some prescient people warned us about, but we could not see it in our daily lives. In fact some of us loved it (Medicare, Social Security, you name it) or took it because “we paid into it”, I am entitled. Givernment brings socialism, and it has become to large to succeed. All the other rotten fruits of socialism are now coming for harvest.

The Communists have spent the past 50 years marching through the institutions.

Now they have them all, the very top levels of power - and they’re ready to wield that power to implement their nefarious agenda.

Funny a globalist like you complaining about socialism. Makes me laugh.

Republican Free Traitors™ must have to have a come to Jesus moment and admit any possible economic advantage gained over the decades, decades of US worker misery in lowered wages and opportunities, of offshoring and so called “free trade” with enemies like China was completely wiped out in 2020, mostly because of the China virus.

It’s shocking that someone as willfully ignorant as you is still here.

I am not a globalist and have never been one. I supported Trump because he was adamantly opposed to globalism.

The Soviet Union’s collapse came with outside support and American policy.

Who stands to help stop the USSA from going full Soviet?

What non-US organizations or governments or alliances?
