Opinions are certainly divided.
As for me, back in the days (not that long ago) when most people thought the government was mostly trying to do good, Assange and Snowden stood up and basically said, "Your government is rotten to the core."
And here we are today, and who can disagree with them? I think they were more right in what they did than they were wrong.
so, are they suggesting that Trump is NOT leaving?...curious.

I thought that a conviction would be based on proving the charges. This is not proving the charges. It is about something completely different. It’s like, he might not be convicted on the charges, but they’ll get him on something else.
I remember a quote from Jefferson that warned that if ever most of the power got concentrated in Washington, we would have the most corrupt government on earth. We should have listened to him.

The senate may convene a trial, but the senate determines ALL the rules. A TRUMP Impeachment would look like a “Captain Blood” trial from Old England, only a naive soul would think or believe otherwise.

Leader of the Senate for less than the next 24 hours … this POS (the turtle) is the anthesis of someone having command presence. His opposite is General Michael Flynn.
It seems to be the old career Congressmen and women on both sides that are the most dirty. They are mostly approaching their 80s and they can’t go on forever. I wonder if the younger ones are as dirty or are they just scared to death of the ones that have been there for decades. Maybe once the old guard has moved on, things could get better...maybe.
I doubt that Mitch McConnell has anything to worry about. The voters of Kentucky just reelected him for another 6 years.
