What’s happening now bears no relationship to any version of America that existed before this point in time.
Those of you who are reading this post are the type of people who pay attention to things. That’s why you already know that 26,000 National Guard troops drawn from all over America and from Puerto Rico, have assembled in Washington, D.C., in advance of Joe Biden’s inauguration on Wednesday. (That’s about three divisions worth of troops.) But have you given serious thought to what the troops’ presence means?
I’ve heard from some optimistic people who believe that the troops are the last phase in a Trumpian plan to reclaim America and maintain it as a true constitutional republic, rather than the socialist tyranny the Democrats seem to have planned. I’m a perennial pessimist, so I’m sorry to say that I don’t believe that the troops’ presence means anything good.
Instead, I’m inclined to agree with Tucker Carlson’s brilliant Monday night opening monologue regarding the deeper meaning behind a massive D.C. lockdown that makes it look like Baghdad, circa 2003. As Tucker noted, this troop build-up is five times the number of military personnel currently stationed in Iraq and Afghanistan combined.
In April 1968, when Washington D.C. was in flames following Martin Luther King, Jr.’s assassination, with a riot that injured more than 1,000 people, killed more than 13, and devastated D.C. for the next thirty years, President Johnson called in only half that number of National Guard troops to protect the nation’s capital. Even during the Civil War, at the height of the fighting, there weren’t 26,000 troops in D.C.

The only this can be seen is that the theft of the election was so bad and so obvious that the incoming administration had to deploy 26,000 military troops in DC to protect themselves.

Trump jettisoned the GOP a long time ago. He has weeded out the 10% he can count on. The rest have chosen to be out. Harris resigned her senate seat. She and all the gop anti trumpets will like to be screaming and pushing in the next months, however DC is now under military rule. These republicans who have not been found guilty of aiding and abetting theft of the presidency will be twiddling their thumbs for at least the next months
They will NOT be doing business with foreign enemies of state they’ll probably be jettisoning their assets

I strongly agree with him about the dangers of cell phones, but also dangerous are license plate readers and facial recognition. Wrongspeak may soon be a crime too.

As long as you have been ranting to anybody who will listen about martial law I’m surprised you can’t recognize it when you see it.
Wait, are you saying that Trump organized all the NG troops as part of his grand Q plan? What is your point?

When was the last time we put 30,000 troops anywhere? For a virtual inauguration of A guy who can’t draw 20 people to a rally?
The troops are definitely digging in for an occupation. They are commanded by defense Sec Miller. This is martial law they just haven’t announced it yet.
What I think is that Trump is not going to let the Biden cabal seize power. He’s likely signed the Insurrection act and turned things over to the military and will let them clean this mess up.
We will all know the answer in a few days.
