What’s happening now bears no relationship to any version of America that existed before this point in time.
Those of you who are reading this post are the type of people who pay attention to things. That’s why you already know that 26,000 National Guard troops drawn from all over America and from Puerto Rico, have assembled in Washington, D.C., in advance of Joe Biden’s inauguration on Wednesday. (That’s about three divisions worth of troops.) But have you given serious thought to what the troops’ presence means?
I’ve heard from some optimistic people who believe that the troops are the last phase in a Trumpian plan to reclaim America and maintain it as a true constitutional republic, rather than the socialist tyranny the Democrats seem to have planned. I’m a perennial pessimist, so I’m sorry to say that I don’t believe that the troops’ presence means anything good.
Instead, I’m inclined to agree with Tucker Carlson’s brilliant Monday night opening monologue regarding the deeper meaning behind a massive D.C. lockdown that makes it look like Baghdad, circa 2003. As Tucker noted, this troop build-up is five times the number of military personnel currently stationed in Iraq and Afghanistan combined.
In April 1968, when Washington D.C. was in flames following Martin Luther King, Jr.’s assassination, with a riot that injured more than 1,000 people, killed more than 13, and devastated D.C. for the next thirty years, President Johnson called in only half that number of National Guard troops to protect the nation’s capital. Even during the Civil War, at the height of the fighting, there weren’t 26,000 troops in D.C.

The democRATs are trying to make it “appear” that the huge National Guard forces are there because the military thinks Trump and his supporters are THAT dangerous. It is an expensive smear campaign that is being pumped 24/7 by the communist MSM.
We need to fight back the same way, except with truth. A great observation is that the democRATs hate the phrase “Stop the Steal” because it puts them in the spotlight with a phrase everyone can understand. It is using their tactic, but in this case it is true. Make the whole democRAT party and their voters own the term STEAL, THEFT, FRAUD and COMMUNIST. Push for impeachment for every democRAT “for their crimes” in every news story we can influence. Make democRATs “FRAUD DENIERS”.

Spot on. It is part of their campaign to convince America that Conservatives are the greatest danger to the Republic this country has ever seen.
It will be magnified and amplified via state run Media, Big Tech, Entertainment, and state run education, and any suggestion to the contrary will render the person voicing it as disreputable and unfit for “polite company”.
The same as it has been since the Sixties to anyone suggesting that Joseph McCarthy was not the evil tyrant he has been painted as by the same entities above.
I guess “Stop The Steal” may need to transition to “Remember The Steal”.

Yep, call me crazy but I really think that Capital storming on Jan. 6th was started by the left solely to paint Trump and his supporters as dangerous and use that as an excuse to oppress the hell out of us solely to stop the truth from getting out. “Stop the steal”, the do indeed hate hearing that and what did they do? Censor the hell out of us. They closed all of Trumps social media accounts, closed Parler, threatened Trump supporters with blacklisting, just like commie regime, stomp out all opposition and I believe they are going to go much further. We’ve seen in the past what they do, IRS harassment, jailing innocent people, F them.
Sad part is I’d be willing to bet that 75%+ of those guards are Trump supporters.

Man that really ticks me off, more troops guarding these mofos than were there during the Civil war. This is Pelosi trying to intimidate. I really hope the guard follows their oath of enlistment and turns on these scumrats and rounds them up...
Each person enlisting in the National Guard shall sign an enlistment contract and subscribe to the following oath:
“I, ________, do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States and of the State of ______ against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to them

I can’t help but wonder if all the security provisions and troops are to protect Biden’s people from Trump’s people or to roll up all of Biden’s criminal people.
Kinda of handy to have most of them in the same place, fenced in so they can’t get out and surrounded by troops who have been deputized by the US Marshalls to make arrests.

The military does not just come up with an idea that the president is a danger and then decide themselves to take over DC. That is not the way it works.
They act under the authority of the government. Period

My working hypothesis, after much reflection, is that during the summer of riots when Trump was begging for NG units to be requested to be sent to various cities under Antifa/BLM attack, he signed various standing orders authorizing deployment of NG units as needed and when requested.
Then, after Jan 6, the JCS (Milley HATES Trump) used these pre-existing standing orders, in conjunction with requests from DC Mayor Bowser (and Pelosi and Schumer in the background) to turn DC into a militarized zone, for purposes of intimidation and a display of raw power.
The general ranks are selected and approved by the Senate. Conservatives have effectively been purged over the past decade or longer. This was the intent of forcing transexuals etc into the military: conservatives retired, leaving mainly SJW “yes men” like Milley, McCrystal, etc.
