Yes - she announced a few weeks ago she wasn’t going to run again (it was noted in the tweet as stepping down, but really was just not running after current term).
EU in Brussels is taking it as an opportunity to gain additional power and trying to influence who her successor is.
Mmm.... no, not really. Just a regular old cow.
