If news sources are to be believed, President Trump will leave Washington DC under his own power on inauguration day. If that is the case, Xoe Biden will become the 46th president of these United States.
My guess is that the various players believe their own propaganda. To wit that the US barely survived an existential threat on Jan. 6. Of course that line is completely bogus but the tendency to go aling with the prevailing groupthink can’t be overstated. Jan. 6 was Pearl Harbor, 9/11 and the War of 1812 all rolled into one. The fact that it was in reality a Reichstagfür is 180 degrees at odds with the official line.
After this week, the Soldiers will go back to work/school/home and the country will go back to normal. Even though some people are hoping it will not.
