SHERIDAN, Ark. – A burger joint in Sheridan is fed up with enforcing the Governor’s mask mandate. Within the past couple of weeks, they posted a sign outside their windows that read “If you are going to be SCARED or OFFENED (sic) or a tattle tail (sic) because MooMoo’s café owner, Jennifer Spann, DOES NOT and WILL NOT force anyone, patron or staff, to wear a mask then please MOVE ON AND DO NOT ENTER THIS BUILDING”.
Stephanie Aiken is a resident of Sheridan and said, “I feel that it’s important that we respect not only each other, but the laws that were put in place.”
Bud Clark, also a Sheridan resident, is concerned a business would post something like that, “Do you want us to be able to come back? Do you care if we pass it to friends and family? So it’s a little alarming.”
Aiken wonders why have a business if you choose not follow the rules placed on it, “Why would you be able to have any kind of business if you weren’t at least trying to enforce those things? “
Clark had a strong opinion on MooMoo’s not wanting to enforce the mask mandate, “”You almost wanna say menace to society in the way that they’re not doing anything to help anything, but harming other people.”
Residents hope that just because one business has taken this stance, which many do agree with, they hope that it doesn’t give the town of Sheridan a bad name. Clark thinks something like this is, is a brazen disregard for public health, “”It is just very concerning that we don’t care about our fellow persons that much.”

She should be posting articles on her door that show Masks are not effective. There was a recent Peter Hitchens column posted here where he stated the BBC asked the WHO about the mask mandate & they were told they were not going to recommend masks. It wasn’t until ‘political agents’ asked them to did they make the recommendation. All political theatre.
And of course, there have been multiple studies showing them as being ineffective. She could simply point those facts out for those who are ill-informed.

and this bs of “not caring” is totally ignored by people who demand everyone be vaccinated, they don’t care at all about anyone getting injured or dying from the vaccine, for diseases that have incredibly low mortality rates/very high survivability rates
Get some rubber glue and put a long string hanging from the bottom of your mask.

Probably wouldn’t get one, but file for a trespass order on the Karens mentioned in the article. For good measure, file for one on the author of the article too.

My husband & I go out to eat every Saturday for lunch.
I do too. I avoid the ones with the mask nazi’s skulking around. I want to enjoy myself when I eat out.
That's the biggest crap accusation to shame people into complying that I have ever heard.
Masks are not helping and people have a right to be free and NOT care about other people.
I know. Everyone is going to think you're a bad guy because *you don't care about other people's welfare*.
Too bad.
Honestly, I can't afford to be so emotionally invested over *caring about* other people, IOW, worrying about what they think of me, that I rearrange my life for them.
We go out when we feel like it. take off the masks as soon as we sit down. Then we leave with them in our hands.
I realized today at grocery store that I was all the way into produce area with mask in my hand...

I do wear a mask and don’t eat indoors because of my age,88,but could not care less what others do.

No and no. You are not responsible for my health and I refuse to be responsible for yours. Eat somewhere else if you don't like it.
Do any of these mask enthusiasts ever stop to think of the absurdity of wearing a mask into a restaurant or bar, then taking it off to eat and drink?
Then when they take it off, they put it on the table, then might use the public restroom, in those two instances alone you pick up all kind of contamination.
Wearing a mask under those conditions are not going to help at all.
If your wearing a mask how to you eat your food?
Mask mandate is killing off the sit-down restaurant and bar industry. No one wants to go to a place wearing a Communist Chinese obedience device, with everything smelling like a hospital, and separated into individual bubbles.
Soon it will be take-out or delivery only. The millions of waiter/waitress jobs are gone.
