North Texan Jenna Ryan Tells CBS 11 She Deserves Pardon After Arrest For Alleged Role In Capitol Riot

CARROLLTON, Texas (CBSDFW.COM) – North Texas realtor Jenna Ryan, who was seen in photos and video at the U.S. Capitol during the Jan. 6 riot, arrived home Friday, Jan. 15 after turning herself in to authorities earlier in the day.

“It was a very strange experience to be arrested by the FBI,” she told CBS 11 outside home. “They’re very professional and it was a very strange feeling. I have a lot of faith in God and I was just praising him and praying and I was just knowing God would take care of me in this situation.” .... “I think we all deserve a pardon. I’m facing a prison sentence. I think I do not deserve that and from what I understand, every person is going to be arrested that was there, so I think everyone deserves a pardon, so I would ask the President of the United States to give me a pardon.”

Anyone who entered the building with the permission or guidance of police, and anyone who was merely trespassing, should be treated the same as Leftist protesters who have done the same thing in recent years when federal buildings were occupied.

"Following my president"...He never asked any supporter to enter the Capitol building...Ms. Ryan, you made a bad decision when you went inside with others...

Some other FR poster warned, back in December, that President should not encourage supporters to come to the DC...I think that FR poster turned out to be correct.

I don't think that it is a good idea,for Mr. Trump, to pardon people like Ms. Ryan right now...He condemned people who went into the Capitol building...His sincerity will be questioned if he pardons Ms. Ryan...

Ms. Ryan is a real estate agent...She also is a radio talk show host...

She should hope that her attorney could get her a good deal...Like federal probation...

IMHO anyone who considers themselves a Trump supporter and has been arrested for being inside the fences of the Capitol should expressly apologize to President Trump for their poor choices on Jan 6. This is the exact opposite from asking him for a pardon.

I am sorry that they got carried away with excitement or whatever and I hope that they do not get sentenced to jail. They caused President Trump, especially, and all true conservatives, generally, great harm. In the first place, their behavior stopped the inclusion of the election fraud evidence into the Congressional Record. Now, what should be legal evidence is legally recorded nowhere.

In addition to all the actions like, most importantly, impeaching Presient Trump, as well as tech take-downs, unpersoning, losing jobs, wanting to take back college diplomas, etc. a cloud over it all is that we have lost the moral high ground, at least for a while.

I am very sad that lives of many Trump supporters, who attended the rally, will be ruined...What if they never bothered to go to Washington DC? I think many supporters will end up regretting that decision...

Yes, I do understand that President never forced anyone to come to DC...But, he did encourage people...Many people take his words very seriously...

I just cannot forget about people who died...Ashli Babbit and other supporters...A Capitol police officer...

I am really upset about losing the moral high ground...I don't like defending what happened on January 6 by bringing up BLM protests...
