Taco Bell may always be associated with neon-colored beverages and big, beefy burritos. But quietly, the fast food chain has established a second identity as a haven for vegetarians and vegans. As of 2020, the bean burrito was the company’s number two biggest seller.

Today, the company is making two big announcements to support vegetarians and plant-based eaters. First, it’s permanently bringing back its popular potato bites, which were taken off the menu as COVID-19 struck, on March 11. Second, it’s launching a partnership with Beyond Meat to release a new plant protein within the coming year.

Taco Bell is only meant to be consumed when staggering drunk.

They used to have a reasonably beefy sandwich called the “Bellbeefer”, (kind of a faux-Mexican Sloppy Joe), but that is long gone.

“Taco Bell is only meant to be consumed when staggering drunk.”
And a cast iron GI system.

I remember the old Taco Bell slogan...

“Run for the bathroom”, or something like that.

Taco Bell open all night translates to ‘we’ve got your vegan munchies dopeheads’.

The place I currently work is next to a McDpnald’s, and a Taco Bell. The line for the Taco Bell drive-thru often extends into the street.

Never developed a taste for chorizo.

It always reminded me of something that used to be a fresh sausage, that got dried up and added too much spice to, so that they could pass it off as something edible.

Am I missing something?

Good chorizo is really good, not like you’re describing. Crappy chorizo is exactly right.

Ate a ton of thief Big Beef Burritos with green sauce, they used to be loaded with ground beef and cheese for 79 cents. Not any more, though.
