There comes a point when God has to lift His Hand of Protection when the nation He delighted in falls so far into sin that they are beyond any hope of redemption.
Sure, there will always be a remnant, and they will still be saved through the calamity, but the nation as a whole will eventually be destroyed.
I'm convinced now more than ever that's where the USA is. It's under judgment now, but it's destruction is all but assured. All we, as Christians, can do now is keep up the faith and be prepared to suffer some degree of persecution before the end of the Church Age finally does come.
