That this country had slavery for 400 years.
This country actually had legalized slavery for about 80 years (end of the American Revolution/Sept. 1, 1783 until Emancipation Proclamation/effective Jan. 1, 1863); in two years (2023), slavery will have been illegal for TWICE AS LONG AS IT WAS LEGAL (160 years).
In one year we will be at Solent Green. (2022). This year is beginning to look like 1984.
