As time goes on, the articles written on the Cruise magazines are now less rosy and rah rah, and starting to face up to the potential of an economic disaster happening.-Tom
Pretty sure there was a test cruise recently and it was a disaster. Somebody infected got aboard and spread it to many.
This was just a few weeks ago.
I think most folks are waiting to make sure they don’t end up on a cruise with that nasty Pee-Jay blogger.
Our local US businesses aren’t the only ones who are hurting. Any businesses dealing with travel all over the world is hurting bigtime.
A cruise 🚢 might be the last thing we NORMALS are thinking about.
Test cruise to Block Island.
Lots of crew were Filipino. They finally (after 3 to 6 months) were allowed off ships in some cases. They decidedly changed careers. At one time, there was hundreds of cruise ships in Manila bay with stranded crew.
“Why Haven’t We Had Any Test Cruises Yet?”
There were!
We’ve had Ted Cruzes.
Well, we have Ted Cruzes, and Tom Cruises. Isn't that enough?
Where would a cruise go that is safe? Would you just do loops and maybe hit the company island for some duty-free?
I wouldn’t be worried personally, but considering the behavior of people today, who cross the street when they see an unmasked face, I can’t see them jumping back into port calls and shopping sprees on the islands. And right now, the islands don’t want you.
