David Rhodes will step down as president of CBS News amid falling ratings and the fallout from revelations from an investigation into sexual misconduct allegations against CBS News figures, Rhodes and the CBS network said Sunday night.

Does literally anyone watch network news anymore? Even really old people who grew up with Uncle Walter and got really used to it? Even Republican elected officials in DC have all switched over to that new CNN thing. Seriously, I haven’t seen network news in years. Do all three even still have news?

CBS has a golden opportunity to fill the void left by the abandonment of conservatism by Fox.

Make Catherine Herridge the head of CBS, and watch your ratings, and your financial bottom line, soar into the stratosphere.
