Saying Stage 4 can be rather misleading. I was diagnosed with chronic lymphocytic lymphoma, stage 4. But three years later, it can’t be seen at all in my system. The doc said at the time of diagnosis, “you’ll die WITH this cancer, not FROM this cancer.”

Exactly. Stage 4 doesn’t mean anything unless we know what kind of cancer it is. Given his age and that it’s stage 4, I will make a wild guess that it’s Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. It could be a ‘solid’ cancer too but less likely than a blood or lymph cancer.
