Lady Gaga to sing National Anthem at Joe Biden’s inauguration

Lady Gaga has been picked to sing the national anthem at President-elect Joe Biden’s inauguration, according to a report Thursday.
The New York-born superstar — who campaigned for Biden during the election — has been confirmed to sing “The Star-Spangled Banner” at the swearing-in ceremony next Wednesday, the inaugural committee told Variety.
Fellow New Yorker Jennifer Lopez is another star name involved, although details of her performance were not revealed.

It's been 12 years since "Poker Face" hit the airwaves. That's a long time to go without another tune people would listen to.
This is also the woman who admitted in an interview that she wanted to be an actress but wasn't getting any calls so she adopted the stage persona as an alternative.
