Technically you are correct the proper mescal worms are Comadia redtenbacheri moth larvae that naturally grow in Tequila Agave Webber leaves but due to the expensive of cultivation of those.worms nearly every cheap bottle of mescal uses easily tray raised meal worms in their place. I have been to Mexico and seen the trays of wigglers being raised on corn meal.
