Nope. From what I heard of that poster, he was a fan of government-run passenger rail.
The railroads were one of the first entities that the left attacked in the USA, because they were privately owned and successful and thus represented how capitalism works versus their unnatural system. The only ways they could attack them was via government-run infrastructure, particularly the roads and airports, and via taxing them into oblivion.
The freight RRs are still over regulated.
From what I see most rail cars spend most of their time sitting around.
The ‘net should provide a model to promote faster packet transport and switching for the rail cars.
Remote automated couplers should be invented and implemented.
Autonomous locos would be arguably more easily implemented than autonomous trucks.
I do love to to watch Railroad operations on occasion.
Private railcars tacked onto Amtrak trains are a fun way to go.
