If they walk it back they will upset a different 75 million people. They're idiots that painted themselves into a corner.

The 75 million they pissed off won't do much more than to complain and try to damage the companies' finances. Unfortunately, there is far too much liberal money to be able to completely cripple them.

OTOH, the other 75* million they could upset would go so far as to torch their buildings and hunt down the owners and employees of these companies. Middle fingering patriots seems to be the safe route, I suspect.

* NOTE: You couldn't get 60 million people, let alone 75 or 80 million, to say they voted for Biden. You would think someone with this level of historic "mandate" would be out front in the public a lot more than he has been.

The reality is that if you've pissed off 75 million and trying to undo that will result in pissing off another 75 million than the best path is to double down on persecuting the first 75 million. You've already lost them, you might as well build enthusiasm in the scum you have left.

Bottom line, they ain't gonna try to woo us back.
