A convention of states? That’s Mark Levin’s dream. My nightmare.
The Democrats (and their CCP overlords) would pull out everything in order to transform OUR Constitution into a socialist's dream.
We're talking BILLIONS and BILLIONS of dollars of graft that would directed towards the convention delegates.
The delegates could modify the Constitution in any way the wanted with just a majority vote. Bypassing the senate and state approval process.
Remember, the original constitutional convention was only supposed to amend the Articles of Confederation. Instead, the delegates decided to throw everything out and start from scratch.
Do you want to hand that kind of power to a set of delegates today?

You don’t have a clue.
Delegates to a Convention of States are not plenary reps like congressional bozos.
States will send delegates with detailed and limited commissions.

“My nightmare.”
An Article V Convention is merely to agree on proposed Amendments. It’s not a Constitutional Convention like in 1787.

Whereas today, they merely have to pressure the Supreme Court in order to get the Constitution changed. Little by little, in small ways that no one notices or objects to, but add up over time. Because Fabian Socialism is still socialism.
But the Billions and Billions aimed at delegates that you fear would do them little good; the delegates have no final say on whether amendments get ratified or not, the state legislatures do, just like they do with amendments proposed in Congress. All the COS does is take the place of Congress in proposing an amendment.
And you don't see Congress proposing the flood of crazy amendments you cower in fear to, even though they could (even during the first years of Obama, when they controlled both the House and Senate), because they know how difficult it is to get 2/3rds of the states to ratify them.
The delegates could modify the Constitution in any way the wanted with just a majority vote. Bypassing the senate and state approval process.
This is flat-out wrong! It is only an alternate method of proposing amendments. Quit repeating lies, an. do your own research before spouting off!
Remember, the original constitutional convention was only supposed to amend the Articles of Confederation. Instead, the delegates decided to throw everything out and start from scratch.
Wrong again. Apparently you're not only ignorant about the Constitution (and willing to share your ignorance freely), you're ignorant of American history.
The convention was called because the Articles of Confederation were clearly inadequate for the new nation. It was suggested that they look into modifying the Articles of Confederation, if possible, because it would be easier to get approved than an all new Constitution, but they were not limited to that.
Do you want to hand that kind of power to a set of delegates today?
Once again, they aren't being handed that kind of power. They only have the power to propose amendments; the rest of the process of ratifying the amendments is the same.
