Amazon submitted a new filing in federal court on Tuesday in response to an emergency motion by Parler to restore its hosting services through Amazon’s AWS. Parler was kicked offline early Monday after Amazon said the social media company had violated its terms of service and Parler couldn’t find another company willing to do business. Parler sued Amazon on Monday alleging breach of contract and an antitrust violation.

Parler’s only problem is they used/trusted AWS not to squash them.
Twitter’s trust and safety council had no problems with hash tags kill all men, kill all whites, kill all Jews.
The cRapper who heads the “Not F–king Around Coalition” made direct death threats against the Governor, the AG, the Mayor, the Judge, and the Police, in about 60 minutes of insane rambling in front of his 297 armed militia (one of whom had shot herself in the foot earlier in the day causing three of them to go to the hospital LOFL) and these threats were all over Twitter.
I haven’t seen as much recently, but particularly over the summer BLM riots, I mean mostly peaceful protests, language like kill all the police, ACAB, And planning on where to organize protest that had turned violent in the past,etc. Was on Twitter and nothing was done about it. It is wrong on both sides and in this case it clearly shows a political motivation.
I would love to know if Amazon can prove that the content was made aware to the moderators to be addressed. If it was, can they prove it was purposely left up? It’s simply not possible to catch every single instance oh something someone says wrong on a service you manage.

We are a long way from CWII and bloodshed. Once you get off the internet the world actually seem fairly normal. People are at work, buying stuff, waiting for an hour to get seated at theor favorite restaurant, out crusing around in their anrtique cars, household wealth is at record levels.
Elections are two years away and it will right itself. The democrats know they cannot go full tilt. Industry groups are already pushing Biden not to raise taxes and not to raise the min wage.
Get of the darn computer and enjoy life. Social media is a disease.
So again who gets to decide what speech is allowed? If you want to truly wide open discussion site you have to put up with the good and the bad, otherwise you can’t claim you are all for free speech. A lot of people demand free speech but yet when the kooks and the radicals show up, oh no we can’t allow that stop them.
By the standards of many today Patrick Henry would be in deep doo-doo for railing against a corrupt and odious government.

And sorry; with all of the fraud this year, there is no way in blazes that things can “right itself” via the electoral process.
The left wants a civil war and has been quite clear on that for a number of years; they are on record. They desire an excuse to exterminate those who uphold the Constitution.
However, Parler had this absurd idea that "volunteer" jannies would do the job of what Twitter employs/pays approximately 120 (most in NY), and Facebook employs/pays easily 500+ (most overseas), to do.
I wonder if they were actual chilling death threats or just death threats?
