Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell has reportedly told his Republican colleagues that President Donald Trump committed impeachable offenses and that he is fine with Democrats moving forward with impeachment.
The New York Times released a report Tuesday, citing anonymous sources, saying that McConnell is pleased Democrats will try to impeach Trump, as it will help separate the Republican party from Trump. Rioters supporting Trump stormed the U.S. capitol Wednesday, committing acts of vandalism and violence and postponing the electoral college certification process, forcing members of Congress to evacuate the building.
Democrats in the House of Representatives introduced at least one article of impeachment against Trump on Monday morning after the pro-Trump mob stormed the U.S. Capitol.

I’m not sure that a leader of the party wants to lose 72 million voters. Pretty sure this is wishful thinking. I wish he would lose all those voters because we might be forced to start a “MAGA Agenda.” movement.

Try Trump for impeachment after 2021 and I am afraid that will be the final straw. Everyone knows the election was stolen and that Trump did not incite Trump supporters to riot at the capitol and that the rioters were Antifa and it appears that they were supported by democrats maybe paid for them to come to DC and and opened the doors for them.

At 68 years of age I’ve never voted Democrat and always voted Republican.
I watched the White House be violently attacked for days. Joe Biden called that “peaceful” and criticized the President for repelling the attackers.
If Republicans cause the president to be disqualified from office while Biden is allowed (of course) to serve, I will never vote for or support any Republican again. I will instead plan to finish my days calling for voters to reject the republican party in all elections.
And you will deserve that reaction from many millions of Republicans.
