Amid all the talk of tech companies dropping the RNC from communicating with its members, i just received my first email from the RNC in a week. It was from ronna romney mcdaniel and read, "I am proud to share with you that I have been unanimously re-elected to run the Republican National Committee for the 2022 Election Cycle. I want to thank President Trump and our entire Party for continuing to place their trust in me." I responded with a nasty reply over the RNC not standing by our President and promptly unsubscribed from future emails.

The Republican Party is about to learn it has a major fundraising problem. Already many of the big corporate donors were moving to the Dems. Before Trump they had lost Big Tech, Big Media, and Wall Street. Now there is heavy pressure on every corporation to cut off political spending to the GOP and its candidates. The recent announcements of dropping support for Republicans publicly stating the election of 2020 was stolen is just the first shoe to drop. After Biden is sworn into office no doubt many CEO’s will be hearing from woke employees, liberal board members, and representatives of the DNC in private meetings. Expect corporate funding to GOP and Conservative causes to be slashed.

Second, Covid is destroying small business. Few that survive will have funds to contribute to political candidates. Expect political contributions to the GOP and its candidates from small business to also dry up, even if the owner supports conservatism.

Third, the donor base is livid at what it sees as the betrayal by the party establishment and many GOP politicians. The latest fundraising email by Rona McDaniel is likely a trial balloon to determine how bad the damage is. After years of fundraising by email, they can anticipate the response rate very closely for each email blast. This one will, and the emails over the next 4 weeks will tell them how bad the damage is. If the response rate begins to increase, they will believe the base will return because it has nowhere else to go.

The latest news that McConnell is supporting impeachement, if true, suggests the establishment believes the base will return no matter how great the betrayal. No doubt they believe in 2022 things will be so bad under Biden the Trump voters will vote GOP because they will have no alternative. Even if the GOP helps to impeach and convict Trump. The base did not walk away when they gave lip service to securing the border and when they failed to repeal O’care. The base has always stuck with them in the past. Stay tuned.

wuli,

I believe you are cruisin for a bruisin.

“””So, beyond Trump, looking at all the national races, please tell me how and where the RNC failed”””

So Wuli, according to your logic Trump does not matter. Are you really saying that?

Let them send it. They have to pay for each sent, so let them waste their $$. I’d rather hurt them where it matters.

I believe it is a good idea to un-register as a GOP in closed primary states. It sends a message to the GOP that they have angered their base.

Now if in the 2022 GOP primary in my state a solid conservative challenges a RINO, I can always change my registration back to GOP to vote for the challenger in the primary.

In my mind it is a win-win to leave the GOP Plantation now.

I got called by the National Republican Congressional Committee yesterday.

That was an ....interesting phone call LOL.

I was nice to her but wanted her to convey to her employers that they could take their survey and their request for money, roll it up, then stuff it up their hindquarters.

I think the last thing she said was “Well, we’ll put you on our ‘do not call’ list” LOL.

Makes sense but I’m so tired of receiving the same bs over and over again. This was a fundraising email not a mailer. The mailers I’ll use as fire starter.

“”” I was getting 20 emails every day”””

Your address must be on a different GOP list. I have not blocked anyone and the only recent email is from Claudia (pasted below). Since November I have saved the GOP money begging emails in a special folder as a reminder why I am fed up with them.

It’s Claudia Tenney, Republican nominee in New York’s 22nd Congressional District, reaching out once again to let you know that my race has still yet to be called – more than NINE weeks after Election Day.

We’ve been in court arguing our case to the New York Supreme Court judge overseeing our race for months now. We could get a verdict any day, or we could see the partial recount in the race continue for several more weeks — even another month. It’s anyone’s guess.

If they keep starting up again, just start marking them as spam or figure out a way to block them. Would depend on what you use for email.

Better yet, we should all report them to the spam databases/blacklists. They’ll get blocked en route then. Spamhaus is one.

"Who said the RNC did not stand by Trump?"

I'll say it. Moved to Manassas, Virginia just before the elctions. When I voted where I was supposed to vote, not one Trump sign in the area. Signs for other Repubs (who all lost) amid dozens of Dem signs. I asked why and was given a mealy mouth response. So yeah, I will say the RNC did not support Trump.

Welcome to the Patriots who were formerly members of the GOP Plantation.

No longer will the GOP be able to rely upon voters who have voted in every primary, special, or general election to support the Republican ticket.

As a new No Party Affiliation voter myself, the GOP now has to wonder how I will vote.

Yeah, I got a fundraising email from Scott from Florida asking for money to restore Republican control of the Senate. Too bad. I deleted it immediately.

I got it too. Unsubscribed and deleted. I’m gonna need to keep all my money if Biden/Harris run this country. They will take all they can get from the middle class and laugh all the way to the bank.

What was Virginia GOP doing? Sitting on their hands. Where were RNC $$$ expected to derive greater benefit? Was Manassass already very blue? Again on that what was Virginia GOP doing.

Again, go get the NATIONAL data. In terms of party turnover of seats, there was in fact no Blue Wave. I think you are being myopic in terms of what the RNC alone was supposed top do for you in Manassass when it looks to me like the Virginia GOP was more the responsible party.

The RNC does not go put party lawn signs up. That is done from the state level down to the county level and within the county GOP folks in the county ask for the signs and put them up. That is not the job of the RNC.

No. Trump did and does matter.

But, as I said, outside of Trump vs Biden, in the many, many, federal and state races, there was in fact no Blue Wave. Don’t trust me, just go look at the data yourself.

In fact there was so much NOT any Blue Wave, with zero Biden coat tails, his phony win is all the more suspicious.

I have a small business. I have to pay for every marketing email I send out. If someone unsubscribes, that’s one less I’m paying for.
