It was not many years ago that Christopher Ruddy sidled up to the Clintons and Obama. I think it is foolish for Christians & conservatives to put their trust in Newsmax as a reliable news source. They have a finger to the wind and see the great mistrust we have of the left and the RINOs, but Ruddy is a RINO, himself. I fully expect that after things 'settle down' he'll once again expose himself as the great "unifyer" he thinks he is and will begin to promote the left's ideology in a slick manner to fool us. Don't be. There are other news sources, that if we gave them the same attention we are now giving Newsmax, they'd be soaring as well. They are far more conservative and don't play games with us. I don't read Newsmax because of the former betrayal. I don't and never will again trust this man! Try OAN, and others that really do support Trump.
We ignore them at our peril because once they are relegated as irrelevant, they'll go off the air and once again we'll be stuck with something like FOX. We are stupid in that way. We tend to forget the history of some of these guys. This guy is playing us and I doubt he is a Trump supporter, but he's making the most of it for his own benefit.
From years past I’ve mostly used a grain of salt with them.
You are probably right as I expect Newsmax to follow the Fox News path. It is also why I come here to FreeRepublic first.

I visited them yesterday for the first time in probably 12 years.
The first article on the “riots” read like what an MSNBC article on W would have been 12 years ago.
OANN seems to still be ok, though.
It’s OAN for us.

This week on radio I am hearing libertarian and conservative talk radio hosts saying that the election was not stolen and that the “riot” last week was far worse than any we’ve seen in many decades.
Not exclusively but that is the explicit predominant message being broadcast, especially on iheartradio/clearchannel

Maybe OAN will stay on the path of righteousness. We only need one network anyway. With Biden being treated as the greatest ever on most networks, hopefully a few will at least report the truth.

First off, you have to figure that the news from the government that is disseminated is false to begin with.

Newsmax is a lot better than Fox News. OAN is a lot better than Newsmax. Anything but Fox News. Bringing them down several notches is important.
They phrase things already with a leftist bent. I like NTD better.

I’m on OANN at this point. It could be better, but it’s pretty clearly pro-constitution.
Nobody can put their trust in any media, but especially a media group that aligns with Marxists.
I don’t like that Rob Schmitt guy. Seems a bit full of himself and not really a Trump/Maga supporter, even giving a fair shake. Greg Kelly and Grant Stinchfield are positive, supportive and straight shooters.
Greg Kelly is who I watch on NewsMax.
My other go-to programs are War Room Pandemic and National Pulse both on America’s Voice Network.
I was watching them among with OAN until they took up the Biden bandwagon... havent watched them since
