Both CNN and MSNBC scored a ratings win over Fox News for the first time in 20 years on Friday, January 8, according to Nielsen, via Mediaite.

Friday night saw CNN average 4.36 million total viewers, and 1.31 million in the key demographic of viewers aged 25-54.
This was closely followed by MSNBC, with 4.32 million total viewers and 838,000 in that same demographic.
Fox came in third place, with 2.98 million total viewers and 513,000 in the 25-54 demographic.
Newsweek has contacted Fox News for comment.

Laura’s rating have collapsed and they’re tanking the 11pm Bream show ratings as collateral damage.
Laura’s ratings have fallen just as much as Martha MacCallum’s ratings.
Fox will buy out Laura’s contract once they find a replacement who won’t lose Hannity’s viewers and tank the 11pm show’s ratings, too.
Laura’s contract is peanuts compared to the advertising revenue being lost because of her viewers that have fled her show.

Yes, very good points. I don’t think getting rid of Sandra and Martha would help Fox News at this point. The trust has been broken. It’s interesting to consider that they have almost certainly had very high level discussions about how to get rid of Tucker. I turned off Fox 2 months ago. There are other sources.

Fox News has always been beaten in the ratings.
If you add up CNN and MSNBC viewers combined it was always greater than Fox. That is the real # you have to be concerned about. That means more people are watching liberal news than conservative news.

I used to like Laura Ingraham years ago when she had a radio program. Since she got her own show on Fox she has become insufferable, and a phony, to boot. Good riddance.
Not to mention CBS, NBC, ABC.

That’s why Fox is going to use rotating hosts for their new show at 7pm until they find one they will stick with and who will be groomed for Laura’s 10pm spot.
