One evening a young man had a few too many adult beverages. He decided to pay a visit to the apartment of his girlfriend. Problem was, she didn't know she was his girlfriend. Our love-struck protagonist though took the initiative. Upon reaching the door to her second floor apartment he stripped naked before knocking... Apparently recognizing the voice/face of an acquaintance she unfortunately opened the door before realizing how drunk and naked he was. He forced his way into the apartment, but then was apparently surprised at how upset his "girlfriend" had become. The verbal altercation turned physical with the young lady rapidly gaining the upper hand and the inebriated young man retreated through the bathroom and thought to make his escape through the window onto a porch roof below.
Being more than a little impaired in both coordination and balance he fell out of the window, bounced/rolled down the shingle roof of the porch, and into some rather rough bushes at the sidewalk. At this point he made good on his escape - walking a few blocks to one of his employee's homes and ringing his doorbell at approximately 3 AM.
My detective friend said when they arrived at the young lady's apartment confirming her story and nabbing the perpetrator of the late night shenanigans did not prove difficult. His clothing, including his wallet, keys, etc. were still in the hallway of the apartment building...
I just have to wonder what the poor employee was thinking. Imagine your boss shows up at your door at 3 in the morning, drunk, naked, bruised and bleeding... SMH
