Actually, I had the exact same thought. Costs them both money and customers. Even better, contact the advertisers directly and tell them so.
Go a step further. After writing that, go to the advertisers site on Facebook and give them a bad review. You don’t even have to put in a comment. A one star review will do damage
A lot of them will do a lot of damage
I’ve been blocking as many ads as possible because they are ‘irrelevant’ or ‘repetitious’ for quite some time.

I want to start a series a series of cryptic posting on FB, that looks like a code. Kind of like Q but more sinister sounding. Ideally I’d have several other people making comments using the same obvious code. I want it to be stuff lie the great Kreskin used to say that could be taken multiple ways. After any kind of riot or social unrest I,d post a statement like “Goal #12 achieved!” Just to troll the censors. Maybe give some moron the willies.
“Even better, contact the advertisers directly and tell them so.”
ABSOLUTELY! A list and a mass email campaign. Pick one and send them hundreds of emails on one agreed date. Pick the next and do the same. They will not be able to ignore this and it will indeed get their attention.
