Yes. To some extent, it is a scorched earth concept. BUT, if the economy tanks, especially after four years with Trump building it up, the crowds that support the Dems will throw them out (”it’s the economy stupid”). Otherwise, we spend the rest of our lives under the boot of tyranny!

Again, not likely. NFL playoffs are here, and most conservatives are damn well not going to miss them. Sigh. Lots of food and beverage purchases, and I've been seeing a lot of big screen TVs leaving our Costco and Walmart stores the past week. If Central Texas is any indication, your plan would fail miserably.
My wife has been doing that for years...she scores tons of major-label clothes for a couple of pennies on the dollar...brand new goodies still tagged at $75 to $200 for a buck or two. Thank God for walk in closets!
