I was at the Capitol last week and the scene was nothing like portrayed in the news. The violence you saw was Antifa incognito who arrived an hour earlier than real Patriots still at Trump's speech.
I've talked to several people there and they told me that the police opened the doors and invited them in.
Watch this and tell me if you really believe 50 police were injured by these people.

Thirty minutes of Capitol Police fighting off people trying to storm an entrance on the West Front. This is the one that has the officer crying in pain as he is trapped between a door and a shield.
