I generally don't like the idea of boycotts, at least not in a coordinated manner. I view boycotts as a tool of the left. That doesn't mean that I do not personally choose to send my business elsewhere when I am displeased with a business.
I clearly recall the first business that I decided to avoid. It was K-mart. I don't remember the exact year, but I remember the reason. They made a big anti-2a push and stopped selling firearms in their stores. It was their choice to go public about being anti-gun. They were trying to influence public opinion. I had a problem with that. If they quietly stopped selling weapons and kept their mouths shut I'd probably be none the wiser and really not care. Being anti-gun was one poor choice among many for K-Mart and their business suffered.
Now big tech and other globalist companies are aligned with the left. They want us destroyed. They are not quiet about it. They do not care about our freedoms, liberties and rights. They have benefited from all the China plague shut downs. Small businesses have suffered.
The play here is really simple. Big businesses are in league with big government and they are eliminating competition, namely small businesses. Then they sell their crap Chinese products.
Big tech has been eliminating conservative voices. Big media has been eliminating conservative voices. Twitter, Google/YouTube, Amazon, et al are eliminating not only conservative voices, but the truth. All of Parlor's vendors have, in a coordinated attack, shut down Parlor's services. They just shut down free speech and truth.
I'm not a user of social media. But I am a user of free and truthful information. If something is not done now, there will not be free speech. We cannot count on government protecting free speech. How can I say that? We just had fraud filled election and government would not allow any evidence to be heard and acted upon. Even when there were legislative hearings, there was no action. It is, without a doubt, a coordinated effort to eliminate our freedoms. Globalist businesses are working with government on every level to create an oligarchy that has no alternatives. The little guy - that's you and me - lose our choices. We lose our voices. We lose our jobs and are forced to work for businesses in an environment that is not of our choosing.
I don't miss Comcrap or Walmart one bit. Those are just two examples of businesses that working against me and you. Also gone are all sports, not just professional sports. I don't miss it one bit. Any business that supports bLM doesn't get my support. I won't waste your time by enumerating all of the businesses that I avoid, but they are many. But to just point out how many, I have taken this to an extreme. One quick example: I saw a Dove soap ad online supporting bLM. I quickly threw out ever bar of Dove soap in the house. I didn't want to feel dirty. I suggest you do the same. Don't feel dirty by support these leftist businesses.
It is now imperative to boycott leftist businesses. Coordinated or not, we need to live with ourselves and not be in a position that we have to admit to our grandchildren that we did nothing. Their freedoms and liberties are on the line.
One last thing, do not worry about collateral damage from boycotting. That small retailer using Amazon that loses business because you boycott Amazon, well they were destined to be put out of business by globalist corporations anyway. It is best that they find alternative methods of delivering their products to market today rather than tomorrow. They won't be able to do anything about it in the future.
Well said.
Stop shopping online
Stop going to large stores
Buy from Local mom-and-pop shops
There is no alternative.
It’s not a tool of the left. It is a tool the left also uses.
I’ve been boycotting Levi’s, Gillette, Dicks, and many others. Some (Levis) for decades. Nothing wrong with voting with your feet.
Buycott ... where you go into a store, get a pack of gum or equivalent and then pay with American Express or Discover.....
Half a buck for the gum and they pay a buck or so in fees.
10,000 people a day doing that will do some damage.
“There is no alternative.”
Posse explain.
Posse = please.
Our home has stopped using Amazon entirely.
When it comes up in conversation (as it does often with this political environment) we tell all our friends and acquaintances why we are doing it. 95% agree with us.
I’m an unimportant person, but I do what I can.
Bull schiff. There are alternatives. One alternative is to go without if you are so weak minded and lazy to find alternatives. Get some resolve and stop feeding the enemy.
Many stores have a minimum purchase amount for credit card use.
I am. I’ve haven’t watched a professional sporting broadcast since last spring. And that’s just the beginning.
Amazon loses money with the Amazon marketplace. It makes it’s money on the AWS side of things. The Web services side. They are up near the top if not at the top of cloud and web services.
I will not do business with them ever again. You can not trust a company to be your business partner when they will drop you like they did Parler.
For professional reasons (I like my job) I will not use that as a public reason for denying them contracts. I will explain it to their sales folks in private calls along with a ‘I’ll deny this conversation ever took place’.
I don’t like the world we live in right now. The terrorists have control.
I was a NFL fan when i was a kid....haven’t watched in years...Kept up with my Crimson Tide casually through the years....watched one game against Notre Dame this season....Notre Dame advertised BLM...my blood pressure went up....I’m so sick of it that i won’t even watch the National Championship game tonight....Just lost interest...and that’s sad for me that i feel that way....Wouldn’t believe i could be disinterested....this is seeping into all aspects of our lives....shut up and sing...shut up and run the ball!!!

Vending machines take them for candy, gum, soft drinks etc.
I was a huge sports fan all my life. However, I have so completely erased sports from my life that I didn't even know the National Championship game was tonight. I won't miss it. I don't even know or care who is playing. I care about other things now. I certainly do not go around saying to myself I miss sports or I miss anything that I no longer consume. I just choose to consume different things with the same amount of passion that I did previous things.
Tech Dark Overlords: "The conservatives will buy the tech rope from us which we'll use to hang them with."
No more rope buying!
