Somebody pointed out here recently that all officers go to college and even at the military college they are still steeped in the neomarxist zeitgeist for four years before they become officers, so they're full of the PC right from the gecko. ;-)

mmm... not 100% there are also commissioned officers who come up through the ranks. There are a few programs that allow enlisted to become commissioned. My first CO was prior enlisted (this was early 90s) and worked through his college degree remotely while enlisted before receiving his commission. Then there are EDOs who often become the chief engineers on ships. These prior enlisted are referred to as Mustangs.

In addition over the past 30 years enlisted have been allowed to achieve higher qualifications. So there are a number of chiefs that have been qualified as officers of the deck on ships now where in the past this wasn’t even considered unless on very small patrol craft.

That they do, not many in my experience bought the lib BS, they puked it back to graduate. Once in the fleet for the Corps, PC was scorned.
