If the Senate doesn’t reconvene until after the 20th why would there be any impeachment vote if Trump is not President anymore...unless they know something we don’t?If something causes Trump to be sworn in for a second term, this is their first act to remove him.

If something causes Trump to be sworn in for a 2nd term, there likely won’t be enough of a Congress left to convene in the first place as they’ll mostly be on trial for treason.
