Today I saw some idiot claiming President Trump was responsible for the lack of security at the Capitol Bldg. Uh, no.

Oh what a tangled web we weave.

Every day, when we think these clowns, commonly referred to as our Representatives and Senators, show up for work the continue to lower the bar and reveal that they are even more corrupt, inept and malicious than they were the day before.

They knew it was coming and let it happen.

The family of Capitol Police Officer Brian Sicknick should be able to sue the shorts off these scumbags, for he knew what they are for a long, long time.

All security for the House and Senate members resides with the Sargent-at-Arms (roughly 800-to-900). The Capital Police Force presently has around 2,000. Each has it’s agenda and processes.

Some would suggest that they should be one single force. Neither group are controlled by the President. Both are financed by the yearly finance bills that the House sponsors.

From what I read over the weekend....lot of negativity has been brewing (bad morale) within the Capital Police. Some of it is simply disgruntled individuals...some angry over pay situation. In the past, some have used the phrase ‘door-guards’ when discussing the force.

Here’s the thing over the National Guard though...neither the House Speaker or Senate Majority Leader have authority to call for the National Guard. The mayor of DC does not have authority. If DC was a state...then the ‘governor’ could call for their local National Guard to activate their local guard (note, it’s around 2,700 folks from DC area by itself).

I’ll take a guess that this is one of the ten reasons why DC for statehood starts up shortly, but adding that 2,700 National Guardsmen would make no real difference in a riot.

So I’ll make this prediction...there’s some major overhaul of the Capital Police and they double the number of members by spring of 2022.

From sources , the former Capitol Police Chief was a big stroke. Clearly he is.
