Wouldn’t it be interesting if Pence declared: “The coup is complete. The republic has fallen. Nancy Pelosi has seized power and is now de facto Commander in Chief. All former US citizens are now subjects of Queen Nancy and must obey her or face her wrath.”
Would the US military just shrug — “If you say so”.
Or would people start to act like maybe our government has been subverted (which it has).
Military would NOT just shrug and follow.
Military is much more conservative than the average citizen and would not follow illegal orders, because if they do, THEY go to prison.
General officers are the ones to watch for— they had their spine removed and guts. They fear politicians more than they fear an armed and hostile foreign army.
