My bride gets out of bed about 15 minutes before I do.

We have an automatic coffee grinder/maker that goes off about 15 minutes before my wife get out of bed. Actually when she smells the coffee, she knows that she is alive and doesn’t have Covid.

She, then, gets out of bed pours herself a cup of fresh coffee and fills my Yeti coffee mug and puts it the end table by my lazy boy.

Then, she gathers up her Fire Tablet, my Kindle that has her books on it and her smart phone and comes back to bed. The old regular phone is by her side of the bed.

By that time, I’m smelling her coffee, the coffee in the coffee pot and coffee in my Yeti. Like her, I know that I’m still alive and no Covid. So I get up and start my day.

No heavy conversations until at least an hour later after we have had breakfast. This is one of the benefits of being retired.
