I know that thousands have left Twitter already but how do we get people to leave Facebook? We need to get the word out.
News has experienced 300% growth over the last 5 days.
People are leaving FB.
Everybody's panicking over what the New Oligarchy will do to them. Looking like the Nazi setup, where you could own your company, but you did what the Party said or else. All we are missing is a team of Federal gauleiter. Will that role will be filled by Google/Apple/Amazon? Almost everybody is acting like the sysyem is already in place.
There’s also the risk factor, based on the nature of the service. It will always be cheaper to make pharmaceuticals in China, but that doesn’t mean we should continue such dependency. It’s fine for Boeing or GM to rely on AWS, but not a conservative social media company like Parler.
Of course, now we will...
now this is starting : similar to what got started with Palrer 48 hours ago

Reminder that the Parler replacement, Gab, is full of the same largely unmoderated content.
It’s where Robert Bowers posted just before he shot 11 people at the Tree of Life synagogue.
Their registrar is
@EpikDotCom
and they are serviced, of course, by
@Cloudflare
Here’s another Twit alternative, as well.
Looks, acts, and smells like a twitter clone, but it’ a distributed network with no ads and would be tough to take own by anyone.

Gab is a Mastodon instance.
Looking for Wictor, Cates, & Rex? Try quodverum.com.
Gab has gone through all the de-platforming issues Parler will have to go through.
A friend of mine who posts on Facebook (I’m not on FB) said she joined Mewe.com also. Is it “safe” for conservatives?
For certain values of “safe”, yes.
Me.we for later
