But if the military is in charge than isn't that martial law?

And if it isn't martial law then the media should be operating as they do now. There's nothing in the Insurrection Act that overturns the First Amendment.

think of the Insurrection Act and Martial Law as relatives...same family but cousins. Insurrection Act is invoked to enforce current law.
