@realDonaldTrump, the Twitter feed that grew from the random musings of a reality TV star into the cudgel of an American president, has died. It was not quite 12 years old.

The provocative handle was given birth by a New York real estate tycoon who used it to help him become the 45th U.S. president. It began with a May 4, 2009, tweet promoting Donald Trump’s upcoming appearance on David Letterman’s show.

It died more than 57,000 tweets later, with Trump using some of his final postings on the powerful platform to commiserate with a pro-Trump mob that besieged the halls of Congress in a deadly assault as lawmakers were set to certify his defeat.

I think the Presidential Library had turned into a joke. Who cares? I’ll rather visit the birthplace of a President instead. Abraham Lincoln’s log cabin, I’ll like to see that. But President Clinton’s Library in Hope, Arkansas? Really?

I think Trump should skip the Presidential Library altogether.

Inconsequential failures like Ford, Carter and Bush 1.0 worry about that stuff because they didn’t do anything for real while in office.

No he does not look smart. He was an average IT guy that got the idea from AOL ‘s instant messenger. He’s a one-trick pony that got lucky.
These big tech giants need a day of reckoning.

There goes the Presidential Library.. I thought this stuff had to be preserved?

Preserved? The deep state with the MSM is in the process of erasing Trump from existence and making it a crime to be associated with him.

8 Jan: NY Post: Kamala Harris’ top economic advisor is another ***BLACKROCK exec
by Thornton McEnery
BlackRock is cementing its position as the Biden administration’s go-to Wall Street firm.
Vice-President-elect Kamala Harris on Friday said she’s selected BlackRock’s Global Chief Investment Strategist Mike Pyle as her chief economic advisor, making him the third high-profile member of Larry Fink’s $7.8 trillion financial empire to take a top job with the Biden White House.

In November, President-elect Joe Biden tapped BlackRock alums Brian Deese and Adewale “Wally” Adeyemo as head of the National Economic Council and deputy Treasury secretary, respectively.
Deese and Pyle, who will not require Senate confirmation, will be the first duo of the modern era to go from the same Wall Street firm to jobs as top economic advisors to the president and vice president of the United States.
Not even Goldman Sachs — famously mocked as “Government Sachs” for its roster of C-Suite executives who’ve moved into powerful DC roles — has managed that feat.

Pyle is the most senior of the three BlackRock execs to head to DC. Like Deese and Adeyemo, he was also a key aide in the Obama White House, where he was instrumental in that administration’s policies on health care reform and trade with China.
Deepening Pyle’s ties to the administration is the fact that he was once a law clerk for Biden’s Attorney General nominee, Merrick Garland...

7 Jan: Philadelphia Inquirer: Business leaders denounce the Capitol attack and some blame Trump
by Joseph N. DeStefano
Pennsylvania business leaders joined national business leaders and some Wall Street CEOs in blaming President Trump for the mob attack on the U.S. Capitol on Wednesday...

The Business Roundtable, a Washington organization composed of the top executives of many of the nation’s largest companies, also issued a statement critical of the mob action.
“The chaos unfolding in the nation’s capital is the result of unlawful efforts to overturn the legitimate results of a democratic election,” it read. “The country deserves better.” Along with ***COMCAST’S Roberts and ***VANGUARD’S Buckley, members of the group include Jeff Bezos of ***AMAZON, Tim Cook of ***APPLEA, Mary Barra of General Motors, Edward L. Breen of DuPont, and Alex Gorsky, of Johnson & Johnson...

Larry Fink, chief executive of ***BLACKROCK, the largest U.S. private money manager, with local operations in Wilmington and Princeton, called the Capitol attack “an assault on our nation, our democracy, and the will of the American people.”...

Two of the Philadelphia region’s biggest corporate leaders — the heads of Comcast and Vanguard — joined other business leaders nationwide on Thursday in condemning the mob attempt to take over the U.S. Capitol.

In a message to employees, Comcast chief executive and chairman Brian L. Roberts said he “watched with deep sadness and alarm yesterday as chaos and lawlessness unfolded at the United States Capitol.”
Democratic values “must be upheld,” he added, “and I hope that we can move forward together as a nation to build a better future.”

Vanguard Group, issued a similar statement. “As a company, we condemn these acts of violence and any threat to our democratic process,” the company said, without mentioning the President...

Comcast, the cable TV giant that is among Philadelphia’s top employers, owns NBCUniversal, Cable Communications, Dreamworks Animation, Comcast Spectacor, and Sky Group in Europe, among other entities. President Donald Trump has routinely denounced the firm and the coverage of him by its news channels. Vanguard, based in Malvern in Chester County, manages $6 trillion in assets and is the world’s largest provider of mutual funds.

This is much of the same story with Bill Gates. I believe that Paul Allen, because of friendship, built his success. It was young Paul Allen with Gates, that started playing with computers down in the University of Washington computer lab, that taught Gates his first knowledge of computers. BTW I met young Bill Gates with a stack of books in the U of W library, when I was a student there.
