Nice Poem.
A Winter poem by David L. Miller
Oh on these cold winter days how we wish for warmth while icily embedded in ourselves.
Chin lift up, eyes look around. Look at the folk who cheerily endeavor not thinking about themselves. They move and work on as on any other day.
See the children! Whether yours or not, happily and smiling they go about their play. Spy the lovers! Nothing creeps into or disturbs their warm embraces.
Eye the sky Whether cloudy or clear! It's a wonderful, magical and miraculous thing. Hear the cheer emanating from the party next door! Share in the pleasure that not all people are at war.
So shed your cool introspective, get up and get out! Make the miracle of a smile happen or create for someone a laugh. Help someone directly or indirectly, it matters not how!
Charity is a giving, sharing a blessed circle. And then go sit back down. Chin up this time and feel the warmth of a life worth living.
