They would need 67 votes to try to remove not 50 +1 in the senate. They don’t have the time.
The game is to try and get the President to resign and have Pence mind the store for the last 12 days.
Trump won’t resign based on the pressure put on him to resign. He needs to stick the next 12 days right back onto the Democrats and stick it in their faces.
