The two Georgia senators get sworn in on Jan 11th. So they have 9 days for the Senate to vote.
When it gets to the Senate, the Senate is 50/50.
Sore loser Romney might side with the Democrats, but I bet there is at least one Democrat like Manchin who will side with the Republicans. They have to see how petty this is of Pelosi.

The President is caught in a difficult spot if he can’t get any assurances from the military that they will assist him if he invokes the Insurrection Act. A prudent C-in-C would assess the probability of compliance and given the political situation, compliance might not be offered, those in a position to give it could let the clock run out, say or do nothing, and hand the country over to the communists.
This is the crux of the matter. We focus on fraud, but in fact there has been treason anyway, fraud or no fraud. There has been treason on such a massive scale that it amounts to revolution. After all, Lenin and Trotsky committed treason against the Tsar and the existing government of Mensheviks. Treason becomes revolution if you succeed in establishing power.
So the question is, can the president find enough real-time force to back up any declarations? If not, he’s stuck making an unenforceable edict.
Eighty million people have a direct say in this. With the right organization, they could provide the necessary cover for the Insurrection Act to be effectual. The question is, if the President does not or can not immediately organize the base in that way, who else would? Pence is gone, we think. Only one or two other public figures of any relative significance could be named as even hypothetical candidates.
You or I can’t do it from our homes, especially me because I don’t even live in the territory to be defended. Mind you I could walk there in half an hour.

The legislation would have to be signed by the president if it managed to get thru the senate.
The Legislative branch would better be advised to wait until Trump leaves, lest they snatch a larger defeat from the jaws of victory!

I smell a boatload of fear in the Democrats. Something is scaring the beJesus out of them.
Maybe Trump has an Ace up his sleeve that they are terrified he will release. Something so dark and wicked in its form and secrets, that they are falling to pieces over trying EVERYTHING to stop Trump from releasing a ‘Pandora’s box’ that will melt them all.
