They are despised by the dems. Now that they are despised by their 74 million base why would the dems give them the time of day.
What counts in Washington DC more than anything else is having a constituency. No matter how good or how brilliant you are, without a constituency in DC you are just a bit player because power comes from representing the interests of people.
The RINOs abandoned their power base. Fools.
That’s what I’m saying. They think the Dems will let them off easy...but they won’t. Once in the opposition, no matter how weak or ineffective you were, you won’t be pardoned.
But maybe being on the hunted list will shake up a few lamebrains in the GOP.
