the last of the great managers of the 70’s & 80’s...Tommy...Earl...Sparky...Billy...Whitey....i absolutely loved baseball in that era...

He was a great minor league pitcher in the early 50's. Incredibly, he never won a single game in the major leagues, although you would never know that from the way he talked about himself!
