Yes poor choices not just on this day but prior protests she had been in. This wasn’t her first encounter with security.
There is no way at that moment any body could have arrested her...glass flying, shouting, lines of defense broken through. It was a mob type scene. Her mistake was trying to crawl out the broken window into the hallway......Bad choice.
If I’m packing a Glock, and sworn to protect and defend elected officials, and an intruder breaks through and outer barrier, an inner barrier, the front doors, and is smashing through another door, I know what I would do.
If you want to retreat, why pack a firearm?

She should not have been there. I have wept for her since she was murdered. I want to weep now.
There is nothing that I can do. I wish that she had not entered that structure on that day. It is heartbreaking.
I agree....frankly there are never any peaceful protests today......they all get hijacked.
