I want the GOP gone as badly as anyone but you aren’t going to win elections with any party in this system with the left in complete control of all the levers.

I would like to see a Federalist view of things where the Federal gov’t only assumes those duties that do not make sense at the state level (e.g., national defense, treaties and trade laws with other countries). I am not a big fan of federal programs for the “New Deal, Great Society, and other federally administered social welfare policies”. To me, if you can fog a mirror, you should be a productive contributor to society. Welfare recipients should work for the gov’t cleaning toilets, sweeping sidewalks...whatever. Some of those people could be trained as daycare workers for mothers with young children. Germany has this system and people quickly learn that, if they have to work anyway, they might as well find a higher-paying job. Also, what welfare there is should be done at the state level, since living costs vary widely across states.
I want Federalism to be the smallest central gov’t possible with everything else in the control of the states.
We need a 3rd party.

He might have talked a big anti-communist game, but nothing significant from the New Deal or Great Society was discarded under his administration.
He also withdrew troops from the Middle East rather than starting new nation-building wars with them. The fact that he ramped up defense spending still didn’t detract from the fact that he was definitely not a Neo-Con.
Everyone knows that Trump won in a landslide beyond belief.
The Hawks hated Reagan for pulling out of Beirut and for meeting Gorbachev in Rejkjavik.

How much success have we had winning elections over the past 150 years with such ideas? Now before you think I’m being a jerk, let’s just say I agree with you on much of what you are saying.
But we are so far away from your vision of what the U.S. should be as the Earth is from the center of the galaxy.
90% of Americans don’t have an Anti-Federalist bone in their body. Over 30% of registered voters didn’t even vote in the Georgia Runoff election. If you include the number of people who are eligible to vote, but are not even registered the number is higher.
My point? The issue of centralized versus de-centralized is long past settled at the national level. The real issue in the 21st century is are you gonna have sovereign nations or global institution with worldwide authority?
If that’s the case, then the main issue of any self-determined nation would be to forge a national unity strong enough to resist the worst elements of internationalism.
There is nothing meaningful that gets to be decided by states anymore. Marriage? Abortion? Defense? Healthcare? Hell increasingly even education....nothing meaningful.
They let states decide which counties are wet and which hare dry. They let states decide how many deer to kill during hunting season.
Even things that states THINK they get to decide like marijuana legalization and letting illegals vote in elections are simply issues in which federal judges and politicians agree with.

Absolutely! I am convinced (as a GA voter) that Kemp and top officials made a deal with Stacy Abrams not to contest the 2018 governor’s election and she’d get our two senatorial positions as a payback.
It is time to stop voting republican if they are not TRUE republicans. We need to primary these people and if they win, then abstain voting for them. This is the ONLY way to get the republicans’ attention! Yes, it will hurt for a while, but the Roves and McConnells, etc. of the party will see that we do not support their BS. They need to stop supporting swamp candidates and then we’ll vote, but if it is the same ol’, same ol’, then we’re out and maybe Trump can form his own party. Never thought I’d hear myself say that, but it’s true. We cannot afford to elect any more RINOs. They fail us every time. I think a 3rd party formed by Trump would succeed! Finally!
Actually, I think what Don, Jr meant was that the voters are the new Trump party, not the establishment GOP.
NO, it’s several streets full and counting. They are continuing to arrive. There were early videos that were short on people bc people are still trying to get to the main venue. There are reports of cops clashing with them.
