Good description of that feeling.
Non-Bible readers will have no idea what I'm saying - but this is the same sensation I have felt during tense times inside prisons doing Christian ministry work, and sometimes at abortion mills and 1/2-way houses/drug rehabs.
This is spiritual warfare, and we do not know who wins this round - we only know that God ultimately prevails. Whether that is soon (in our time-terms) is anybody's guess.
