Being D.C. is a bastion for liberals, 95% voted for Biden! You know the PD reflects that!
They made sure to arrest proud boy leader from an interview with news station for the taking down of a BLM flag and burning it in last months rally! The same DC police who stand by while innocent people are beaten by antifa and BLM.

welcome to The New World Order Police.
Orwell and Ayn Rand tried to warn us,
as did Revelation Testament by John.

But once again Man (oh and Women) once again
did not head the warnings.

I Pray God Save The USA!

Oh really?

Ever been in a breakroom of any business or industrial plant?

There is always an EEO poster of some sort hung on the wall or door.

Always.

The business may have hung the sign, but they are required to do so.

In the last five months I have:
—Drove from central KY to Seattle and back
—Flew from Cincinnati to Idaho falls, then drove to Seattle and back and flew back to Cincinnati.
—Drove from central KY to South Padre Island and back
—Drove several times from central KY to the Chicago area and back.

In all of those trips I walked through dozens and dozens of doors saying masks are required. With the exception of a few tourist trap stores (sell labelled coffee cups, T-shirts, etc.) and one of my flights, I was never asked to don a mask and nobody cared. The signs are a corporate thing to satisfy the gestapo rules.

And at the tourist places I simply smiled and donned the mask and then took it off as I hit the aisles.

On the airplane flight a karen sitting a couple of rows from me sicked the flight attendant on me. I put on the mask and then followed airline rules. I pulled out my large bag of Costco peanuts and removed my mask. I then nibbled on peanuts, without the mask on, for the entire flight. The Karen was beyond irritated. Oh well. We all have our personal crosses to bear.

Dutifully wear your mask and you make tyranny easy for them. People like me are the reason Wal-Mart backed off on forcing masks. Sometimes fighting against tyranny is pretty easy and effective.

There is an interesting disconnect between the MD world and the physics/engineering world when it comes to masks.

Ask an MD if a N95 mask is better at catching smaller particles than .03 microns than catching .03 particles. Then ask an engineer.

people who opine here think masks act as a sieve or like a colander.

At any rate..since i am neither an MD or an engineer....i will continue to wear my mask relying on brownian motion to lessen the viral load

Please post more details. I can’t even begin to respond to something as vague and non-specific as that.

There is no comparison. You went too far trying to make one.

Once they put me out I won’t be calling anybody.

Damn, I had no idea there were so many Karens on this site. So much for a “free” republic. What a bunch of whiny little sheep. Show me the data that says mask-wearing prevents spread of COVID. We’ve been masked for 9 months now and it hasn’t contained a thing.

I am an engineer and know that the size of the virus is many, many times smaller than the openings in the material. Kinda like asking a chain link fence to stop a mosquito.

On the other hand, since the China virus s airborne, air currents must directly affect the transmissibility of the disease.

Not as simple as it looks.

Maybe it has something to do with the size of the business. When I worked at a small company we didn’t have one of those. When we were acquired by a larger company the new management put one up on the kitchen.

It also doesn’t matter anymore. That stupid sign symbolized the biggest reason why I left the company and started my own business. It also explains why I only hire family members and contractors.

You ever hear about sit ins from the 50’s. Private ownership of public businesses does not permit discrimination. Wearing a mask is not recommended for me based on my health and age. Forcing me to do so endangers my health.

I posted a very interesting interactive mask thing from ny times done by specialized engineers. It will also let you step inside the mask to see how ot reacts using an app but i didnt do it

Btw..n95 better at catching the smaller than .o3 particles as per engineers than .03..doesnt have anything to do with virus attaching to bigger size stuff. Its based on physics. But that is too far above my head to understand

Look at the sorry posters on Free Republic. A better name might be Karen’s Republic or Sheep Republic.

You noticed that too. There is no accommodation for those with medical conditions that do not allow the person to wear a mask! Some signs in establishments have that on them. BUT - if you dare go without a mask the mask nazi will tell you to get your mask on or they want you to leave. We are in such a sorry state of affairs! Our republic has fallen to a level of pussification!

****I don’t treat MY clients “equally.” Why the hell would I expect someone else to?****

If all parties that you do business with are fine with that given full disclosure, more power to ya.

****It also explains why I only hire family members and contractors.****

That sounds to me like you are either on the inside track, or you are sufficiently under the radar that you are comfortable stating such on an open forum. Do you believe al are as fortunate as you?
