A regional big box store in town hands out masks to forgetful customers. Seems like the appropriate thing to do if you want to keep a customer that could spend mega bucks at the store.
So CVS’s now offer surgical services to the public. Who knew????

I don’t care about “unequal treatment” in a private business establishment. I don’t treat MY clients “equally.” Why the hell would I expect someone else to?
I always wonder when they march white males off to the FEMA gulags if they will require masks to be worn in the box cars?
Stores, and store employees, will get in trouble if they call the cops on blacks, for any reason.

In practice, if an employee calls police against a mask-less black person, the employee is the one who will get into trouble.
Actually, it’s my understanding there was a study about 40 years ago that showed no increased risk if surgeons/nurses skipped the masks during surgery.
So, Yeah, I’d probably be OK with it.
I don’t know what “reality” you live in. I run my business as I see fit. I have no reason to complain when someone else does.

You are just deliberately being obtuse now. I suppose you argue it’s business owners ideas to limit seating also.
My guess is that you know how foolish you are to wear a mask, and when someone else refuses to wear one, it reminds you of it.

I Live in a reality where hundreds of my friends are out of a job because the tried to live in your skittles and unicorn farts world, and were told that their acquiescence to to the rules would allow them to “survive through this” only to have the rules changed, now they are destitute.

Odd...I entered CVS last week to pickup a prescription sans mask. I wasn’t approached, pummeled, arrested or ejected from said store.
I’m sure enforcement of company policy is dependent on individual local employees, but people are immeasurably better off knowing the rules before they confront employees or cops.

I would have made sure to get his name and contact Corporate.
I’ve spent the last ten months going out of my way to support local businesses that openly defy the restrictions and shutdown orders imposed by my state. That’s the proper way to act on principle. Walking into someone else’s place of business and telling them that THEY should be as defiant as you is not.
