My mask and gloves come off at my car. Get thrown in a bag in the back of my SUV. I use hand sanitizer and go on my merry way.
I use a new mask and gloves at every stop.
I have a variety of masks that range from n95 to the typical medical mask.
If you want to argue that masks and gloves create climate problems because of plastic yada yada yada..then go ahead
Still going to use them
And YES, I realize there is no way to keep all virus particles from invading my body due to the nature of the gear and my own ineptitude at using them
It is and always will be about reducing viral load.
Detaining anti-maskers is easy safe police work, detaining drug dealers is dangerous ! For one thing drug dealers tend to shoot!

I’m pretty much like you when it comes to this mask stuff. Luckily, I’ve never been chastised for not wearing a mask.
I would like them to stay 6 feet away from me...and 6 feet is an arbitrary number in reality.
I bet if I pulled down my mask and said I was exposed to covid yesterday so you might want to step away... those same people would have a definite reaction.

If this is true, then you are perhaps one of the few mask wearers that is not spreading disease. Unfortunately the vast majority are not careful.
Maybe the McDonald’s worker washed her hands before working, but it doesn’t matter if she’s touching her mask while working. Whatever was in her nose and mouth has now found it’s way onto her hands, onto your food.
Not sure what is ridiculous about this. I find disgusting masks lying in shopping carts, church pews, and in restaurant booths all the time.
I saw a lady have sneezing fits just after entering a store, pull out a rag to wipe her nose, then proceed to turn her mask around with all the snot on full display.

The Free Republic I think will hold out as long as it can and be one of the last to go, we will just have to learn to live without the others.
